Married

I know I haven't posted in centuries :p hahaha, okay that's exaggerating. I have been extremely busy, well I'm sure most have heard or found out I've recently gotten married :D o al7mdellah things are great but quite hectic with the move, furnishing and whatnot...plus, I'm still studying sooooo trying to balance is a bit awkward.

I'm currently sitting on the floor in my English Department in university bored and about to work on my alleged assignments. aaaaah me, stress stress stresss!~

I suddenly felt like blogging about things :p anywho, I miss you all on the blogosphere!

I'll be your hero!

Well, hero may be exaggerating a bit but I feel like one today!
Granted I didn't wake up early enough today but was woken up sometime during the evening by Mom telling me that she and Dad had gone on a road trip to pick my grandma up from Sungai Petani...and no my brother and I were not told before this alleged phone call :p
So basically! I was told I needed to wake up to cook futoor by myself and of course looking at the time I ran downstairs to get started. I would have seriously stayed in bed and not bothered but alas -_- my brother needed food too I couldn't let him starve...(though I tell you I would somewhat have rather broke my fast with yoghurt and continued sleeping-lazy alter ego talking)
Well...got the chicken out, got the onions, the garlic, the ginger, the potatoes and the spices and got to work.
Let me just say I now know how the people in "Masterchef" feel like, to have to cook under a time limit is a lot of pressure what with the heat! the cooking more than one thing at the same time! forgetting to stir one pot but over stirring the other :p loool it was a marathon.
The results? We were half an hour late for futoor but it was worth it! The food actually turned out perfect and I felt proud of myself.
Then started the adventure...had to make sure the kitchen was spic and span for their return and suddenly I hear my brother screaming from upstairs...there was a spider in his room and a gecko (gross tiny lizard) on the wall going up the stairs....soooooo big sis had to whip out her canons and get rid of the beasts..

Drum roll?
I killed it!! the lizard at least, I don't have the heart to kill spiders so I just took it outside..

I feel weird because anyone who knows me knows I have a phobia when it comes to lizards, so I felt heroic! hah!

well, anyone else had an adventurous day?

Monkey Business

So my cousin took me for a drive around her neighborhood to this place which is well known for the monkey population. I mean literally, the place is full of monkeys and they're actually quite the friendly little tykes. I adore them! I was walking around taking pictures of them and this little guy came up to me and looked me in the eye and put one hand on my handbag, so I laughed and pulled back and it put both hands on my bag and started pulling at it...I couldn't help but snap a picture, it was a cute attempt at robbery but alas, I was much stronger! :p

This little guy wasn't afraid to get to close! They were obviously looking for food and we didn't think we'd be staying that long so we didn't bring any, Gosh they're adorable!
This little one found food alright, and he wasn't about to share either :P
I seriously had a lot of fun just watching them and taking pictures. They cheered me up a great deal...I mean I was an emotional rollercoaster and since the little monkey tried to steal my bag I started to cheer up and laugh. Leave it to the primates to make you smile. I think they're adorable creatures and I wish I could keep one but of course Princess Coco would tear it to shreds (my cat has a very jealous streak)..aaah, there's something about nature that always calms me down no matter what mood I'm in. I'm enjoying it as much as I can before returning to desert territory..*sigh*

hope you're all having as much fun!

Universal Studios Singapore

So when we arrived in Malaysia, we met up with our families and decided to have an adventure. We decided to go to Singapore and visit Universal Studios. I've never been to the states, so Singapore was as close as I'd get to something like this :P And soooo off we went, we drove all the way to Singapore, then the next day we hopped onto a bus, then a few trains and finally arrived at Sentosa Island, where Universal Studios was located.

Marvelous isn't it? When I first saw the globe I went insane, I was crazy excited because this would be the largest theme park I'd have been to besides Sunway Lagoon of course :P This place was way cooler!
This here? Is Shrek's Castle, when I saw it I felt like it was a fairytale and seriously considered moving in :P I love it!
This would be the crazy roller coasters that caused me to lose my voice from screaming like a crazy person. There was the blue track, and the red track. Let me tell you, the red track scared the life out of me, but I enjoyed it!
Then we went along and found Donkey's live show, he actually interacted with the audience which was pretty funny :P
Jurassic Park! This was a hell of a section, the rides here soaked me, I literally had to buy a new outfit to stay warm. And of course there's me standing like a loony in the middle of the crowd taking a picture like the Asian that I am :D
I don't know why but when I see pink and a store I go stir crazy, this is the Betty Boop store, oh my God it had the cutest stuff!!! I went insane and started buying things all over the place :P
This huge ship was in the Hollywood section, they had a crazy attraction here that knocked my socks off...umm I wasn't wearing any coz I was in sandles but it was amazing!
This here would be the adorable live band that performed for us minutes before the fireworks show! They had great singing voices and I was definitely VERY entertained :P *giggles*
Me and a huge dinosaur! :D I seriously love dinosaurs :D
Shrek's castle at night...a true vision. I seriously adore it. It is beautiful.
This was by far the best adventure I had this summer :D I loved it! You all should totally come visit this place!

Anywho, more interesting pictures to come!
